Tulogan

Tulog — or Tulogan when referring to more than one — are brutal, brutish creatures used as foot soldiers and shock troops in nearly every battle they fight. If you’re imagining something like orcs, you’re not far off.

They come in all shapes and sizes. Some are small and wiry, darting around the battlefield. Others are massive and slow, but hit like a battering ram. What unites them is their aggression and their cruelty — and the horns. Every Tulog has one or more tusks or horns, and the more they have, the higher their rank. A four-horned Tulog is someone the others will obey — or at least fear.

Their weapons are crude, but lethal. Rusty cleavers, chipped axes, and spiked clubs — all likely to be poisoned, or just filthy enough to infect anything they cut. Tulogan don’t live long, but they don’t seem to care. They’re bred for war, and they die by the dozens in it.
